A LITTLE MORE WIND

A (very) quick one to bring your attention to two interviews that ran this week spotlighting my soon-to-be released IDW series The Adventures of Augusta Wind.  The first is with Comic Book Resources, the second with Newsarama.  I'm very happy with the way both pieces turned out.  Give them a read if you're so inclined.

We now return you to your regularly-scheduled Sunday.

  1. Very cool.

I have a couple of questions about the unpublished Strange Tales issues.

    Were they ever illustrated?

Do you have the scripts for sale?

    I gotta read the end.

    It's killing me!

Loved the Man-Thing series by you and Liam!

    1. My memory is that we completed one issue (although it was never lettered) and the second issue was plotted and drawn but never dialogued. Nothing for sale, Kelly, sorry. But maybe I'll post the plots here one of these days!

I loved working on that series with Liam: one of my all-time favorite collaborators.

    2. Thanks,J.M.

      So they were drawn.

That means that they could be published one day.

Look how long it took to publish the Man-Thing story by Steve Gerber and Kevin Nowlan.

      But it happened!

  2. Do you know the exact release date for issue #1? I've been searching online but all the articles simply say that it's coming out this November.

    1. I don't, Eve, but I just shot an email over to the folks at IDW to find out. Soon as I know, I'll post it here. Thanks for asking!
