It's been 20 years since I last attended Comic-Con International in San Diego and I'm very happy to be returning as a Special Guest of the convention. For those of you attending, here's my schedule of events...

02:45 PM - 03:45 PM
Those will be my only signings. I will not have a table in Artists Alley.
The rest of the time I'll be wandering around like everyone else, with my mouth hanging open, marveling at how this event (which I first attended, quite by accident, way back in 1976—but that's another tale for another time) has changed.
Onward to San Diego!
I heard "Spider-Man: The Animated Series" is going to have a panel for its 30 anniversary. It's a pity you won't be in it considering your comic to solve its cliffhanger.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure it will be a great panel with or without me.
DeleteReuniting with Terry Kavanaugh, awesome!
Delete--David
Not sure if it's really Terry or a clone. ; )
DeleteHa! Ask him something only the real Terry would know, who is F.A.C.A.D.E.? Of course he could say anything so I guess we're back to square one.
DeleteIt would be great if all the Clone Saga creatives reunited for a panel. I guess the only question left is what controversial story arc could you possibly talk about to fill the time?
--David
The Clone Saga? Controversial? I had no idea, David!
DeleteOh me neither. I was clearly referencing Ravencroft hiring Man-Wolf as their head of security! As I recall it the letters column was all John Jameson, all the time, for the next two years.

Just starting reading JL ‘88 and loving it. The creative process strikes true for a short film me and my best friend are making. I spearheaded the writing and it developed into something different to our conversations organically. It’s giving me a bit of anxiety that my friend was taken aback but it was bound to happen and now she’s added edits and we’re running with it.
ReplyDeleteHope it’s working out as well as you and Giffen xo
Good luck with your film!
DeleteWill a wristband/ticket be needed for your signing Sunday or will it be open? Thank you, very hopeful to get the opportunity to meet you!
ReplyDeleteI'm pretty sure it will be open. Thanks for asking!
DeleteIt is strange.
ReplyDeleteI just naturally assume any question you are asked at this panel will lead to a four hour lecture about how great I am. \
I am just not sure why SDCC want s to happen three times.
Oh well, I am sure they have their reasons, and have studied it thoroughly.
Jack
Dream on, young man. Dream on. ; )
DeleteSo.... you are saying they are just willy-nilly giving you the microphone to sing my glories? no research? No plan? No rhyme OR reason?
DeleteThat seems dicey.
Jack
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.
