As I recall, Keith had a wonderful, rock-solid plot which allowed me, via the script, to dive into J'onn's head and heart and build on what I'd done in the MM solo mini-series.

J'onn's an all-time favorite DC character and I'd love a chance to write him again.J.M. It's all very humanizing, which is a treat.
I could see Keith holding off on his reflexive mania a bit when dealing with someone who's made sincerity such an identifying creation point!

I found "The Man I Never Was" again after so very many years, in JLI Ann. 3- it was an enlightening contrast, what you and Keith can do in an introspective mood, obviously inspired by your own work individualizing J'on J'onzz. Martian Manhunter epitomized your quote about finding ourselves even in the alien- is there a mainstream DC character you worked on that ever reflected your inner life better? (Rhetorical or inquisitive, take your pick on that one :-D)Ceasehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16852602817305513997noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4193334913733210326.post-66393863446434975922016-09-05T09:34:45.182-04:002016-09-05T09:34:45.182-04:00Thank you, Karlos!Thank you, Karlos!J.M.
