They, along ...Spiders would not cause indigestion. They, along with most insects, tend to be fairly easy on digestion. I learned that from Ripley's Believe it or not museum.

However, if we are going to ask those kinds of questions, I have one... in Captain America: Civil War, why didn't Steve just call the ACLU?

Not only were the accords incredibly unconstitutional (violating freedom of speech, search and seizure laws, and basic civil rights), he was being unlawfully detained.

the U.N. is not a law making organization. The Accords would have to be ratified by each individual country, which there would not have been to to do...and again, the U.S. probably would not.

Whether you think they are a good idea or not, Iron Man and SHIELD were acting entirely outside of the law. The exact thing they said they wanted to reign.

Before you say ticket sales would be too low, I think that would be a way better movie.

A secret organization, that had already been shown to be infiltrated by HYDRA, being revealed to be just as bad. A Billionaire with deep government ties, saying one thing and doing the complete opposite while forcing others to pay for his mistakes, being forced to face his actions.

It could be like All the President's Men, but for superheroes.

That is the essential problem with the F.F. joining the MCU. Robert Downey jr. did a great job, but he was already basically Doctor Doom.

In Endgame, when he comes back from Earth, he was not only delusional that his little satellite could have stopped the infinity gems (I refuse to say stones), but also complained that people were too concerned about their rights. That is Dr. Doom all over... just without Reed Richards.

Great performance though. Really, top notch.

Jack.

Seriously, if you are on the fence about seeing doctor Sleep, I say do so.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4193334913733210326.post-66452135805360433652019-11-22T16:37:41.526-05:002019-11-22T16:37:41.526-05:00You're too deep fit me, David! You're too deep fit me, David! Jim Starlin and Rob Tyler (lead vocalist of MC5) are both from Berkley Michigan, so you could argue there is a connection between Starlin's Cosmic Marvel and punk music, but it is tangential at best.

Yes, both had some anger and anti-authoritative views behind them, but I am not sure you can draw a line as think as you want.

Though, I do like the idea of saying Starlin was one of the founders of punk rock comics.

More importantly, a year ago today, one of... if not THE greatest comic book creators of all time died.
