OF BATS AND BEETLES

Toon alert:  My next episode of Batman:  the Brave and the Bold—"Revenge of the Reach"—will air this weekend on Cartoon Network.  You can see it either Friday night at 7:30 or Saturday night night at 8:30.  The story features Batman teaming up with Blue Beetle, Guy Gardner and the entire Green Lantern Corps. against the intergalactic threat of the Reach.  If you're an animation fan, I think you'll enjoy it.

And a very happy new year to one and all!

  6. I like the idea of this being the first episode of 2010, David. A nice start to the new year and the new decade. Hope you enjoy the episode...AND the next ten years!

  7. Enjoyed the show tonight, JMD. My favorite part? The scene between Beetle and Paco about Aquaman, of course. :)

  8. Hi there,

Sorry if this question is common knowledge, but I contribute to the Inducks (coa.inducks.org) and am more familiar with funny animals than super-heroes.

We've been wondering which exact name we should use in our database, in other words does "J.M." stand for "John Marc" or "Jean Marc"? the latter, as well as "Jean-Marc" with an hyphen is used on some other sites. Would you be able to help us clarify this?

    thank you,
    happy new year,

  9. Believe it or not, Rob, I haven't seen the episode yet; went out to dinner with some friends and totally forgot it was on. I'll catch up with it tonight. VERY glad you enjoyed it. Hope I do, too!

  10. J.M. stands for John Marc, FWI. My last name is Italian, although family legend says it originated in France, so maybe there was a Jean-Marc in there somewhere. Happy New Year to you, too.
