  1. Hey JM, my copy of The Life And Times Of Savior 28 was delivered yesterday. I read volume 1 so far.

I first thought about comparing it to The Dark Knight then I thought of Watchmen's Comedian character's life, but as the story progresses, I found that "The Savior 28" is more of a tragic hero and his life a vehicle to draw a portrait of the 20th and early 21th centuries.

While it is still a super heroes comics, it is far more grounded on realism than the Dark Knight and unlike Watchmen, your portrait is more favorable to the super-heroes, as in your vision, they would have to bear a a great burden but would still have some decency and ethics.

The on off narrative is spectacular and carries a ton of political and social criticism that really amazed me. I have read still volume one though. But already liked it a lot. Superb art. Cavallaro is a kickin' a** artist.

  3. Yeah does not sound likely honestly thinking... :-( Anyways, Amazon started today to sell kindle books in Brazil. This is the good news. Bad news, the kindle price is still kind of prohibitive to guys like me :-)
