REMEMBERING SINNOTT
We've lost another great. Joe Sinnott, whose extraordinary inking graced so many Marvel Comics—most notably a classic run on FANTASTIC FOUR, embellishing Jack Kirby's pencils—has passed away.
I had the pleasure of encountering Joe on several occasions and he was as sweet a man as he was talented.
Safe travels, Joe. And thank you for the incredible body of work you've left behind.

Aw, geez. What a loss.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteSad to lose such a great, but wow did he live a wonderful and eventful life! Everyone knew it too. There was never a shortage of people in his line at any con he'd attend.
ReplyDeleteI met both Denny O'Neil and Joe Sinnott at the East Coast Comic Con in 2019. Now Denny and Joe are both gone, and the con was cancelled in 2020 due to the global pandemic. What's next? On second thought...don't answer that.
Glad you got to meet them both, George. Two true gentlemen who left the business, and the world, a better place for their presence in it.
