Wow JM Dematties this looks really good. I noticed in the preview of someone wearing the symbiote again? But with red eyes and a red spider symbol is that Peter? I'm really exicted I loved Kravens Last Hunt, its a shame this was never adapted in live action. Tobey Maguire would have been perfect for it. Can't wait!

DeleteI'm with you re: Tobey Maguire. The Raimi Spiderverse would have been perfect for this story. Barring that, I'd love to see an animated adaptation...and I'd love to write it.

ReplyDeleteThe CBR article answers those questions. The short version: Marvel reached out to me and my first thought was...no. But then a great story idea popped into my head and we were off nd running. Hope you enjoy the story!
DeleteIts a shame the release date for this story, I want it quicker, thanks again dematties for contributing to spiderman, your another writer who understands the character properly. I wish you would consider writing a full time Spider-Man title in the current continunity but making it dark and gritty, the way you and Sal did in Spectacular Spider-Man. I'm not sure though what are your views on Peter Parker in the current books or in films and tv but if you did consider I'd be happy to buy it or if not I'd recommend it. See you soon pal.

ReplyDeleteSpider-man's death will lead to teh reurrection of MArvel's most beloved character, Sunshine. He will then lead the whole of teh world to a Utopian era.
I am sure it will be well written, but you cant deny that is very predictable.
I will be neice to see Sunshine back at his roots, not the comerrcialized hollywood-tinged version we see most of teh time.
Still... predictable.
