HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FRANCIS ALBERT SINATRA

I've written about my love of All Things Sinatra here before, but there's nothing I could say that this wonderful television special, from the mid-1960's, doesn't say far more eloquently.  The magic is in the Voice.  Enjoy!

  1. Aren't you going to add how every superhero would listen to them. Especially Steve Rogers.

    Yes that again.

    2. If Giffen and I ever get a chance to write the Surfer together, you probably will!

    3. You mean write it again, don't forget the Defenders story, which I felt was underrated.

Hell McGuire, could just mock it up as a poster.

I like to think that if it does happen in the corner of that last page (and that image of him singing with the trench coat over the shoulder and tilted hat has to be the end of the story) it will say... very small... "this is for you Jack. And everyone will thinkn its Jack Kirby but I'll know the truth.

Yeah, yeah not very likely. But a man can dream.

    4. I'd buy that Silver Surfer as Sinatra poster. (And don't forget that Sinatra used the word "Jack" as part of his 60's hipster vocabulary. So there's you, Kirby and the OTHER Jack.)

    5. That makes at least two. How much more incentive is needed?
