DeleteHello sir, my name is Felipe, I was reading one of your amazing Spider-Man 1999 stories in your annual that featured Man-Thing, and I wanted to ask you something: if you were to continue writing the divine story telling his own vision of god Would many things change? Like, there are characters such as Knull, who is like a cosmic Satan of Symbiotes, seemingly intent on fulfilling an evil purpose: bringing everything back to the void before creation, or Beyonder, who is now like a being that went to something similar to Shamballa in Ewing Stories.
ReplyDeleteSo, if you had the opportunity one day and continued these stories, would you see Knull or the Beyonder as avatars of the Creator? Wanting to serve a Divine purpose/or an evil purpose, seeing that the Devil Creator exists in your stories?
I'm sorry if I'm bothering you, sir, it's just that I really love your stories.
Not having read those stories, I don't have any real insights. If I found myself writing stories involving those characters, then I'd do a deep dive and, depending on the needs of the story, come up with my take on where they fit in the cosmology. None of these things are set in stone, in the end they have to bend to the needs of the story.
