IN ANCIENT MEXICO

We arrived in Mexico City yesterday and this morning, at 7 am, our warm, wonderful hosts at the La Mole Comic Con loaded us in a bus and took us out to visit the pre-Aztec world of the Pyramid of the Sun and the Pyramid of the Moon.  An amazing day.  Here are some photos.

  1. All those amazing pictures but I have to ask: Did you try the crickets?

  2. Hope you are all having a wonderful time, Mr D.

Now that's what I call a sight! Amazing!

And seeing two of my all-time favorite creators together - fantastic!

By the way, congrats on the upcoming release of the JL/I/A Omnibus - easily my most requested omnibus EVER. I'm sure I'm not the only one to say that - that's going to be one beautiful looking book!

  3. Oh. So when you are in Mexico, it's "lets go exploring." But in Detroit, its ignore the place.

Of course, technically, you were never actually i Detroit, but the point remains valid.

It all comes into focus now.

    1. Yeah, I'm still not sure exactly where we were when we went to that con.

      Are there pyramids in Detroit?
