And just think...
ReplyDeleteyou would not have even known it was coming out if I had not said something yesterday.
I have to warn you Dematteis, this issue WILL be a notable step down from the last one. NO! NOT because of anything you did. I would assume that is of similar quality.
This one however, will not have a letter from me in the back. SO when you can;t figure out why there was a drop in reading experience, CALM DOWN! You don't have to collapse into depression out of fear that you have "lost it."
You are...likely... at the same quality as usual. The experience is down because I am not a part of it this time, nothing more.
Jack
I'll just have to tought it out, Jack. ; )
DeleteThis issue warmed my heart. We need more heroic couples in our lives, and Peter and MJ will always represent the best of what love in the world outside our window can offer. Thankyou for every bit of effort you put into these two J.M!
ReplyDeleteI wish you had more issues of this story, I want to see more of Orisha's history. Tracy seems so kind and nurturing, a potential great ally for Spidey in the future. I'd love to delve more into her history and all the times she tried to intervene in Kraven's hunts, that was you planting the seeds for more tales to tell and I am ready to read them!
Thanks so much! Yes, I was indeed planting seeds for the future. Aja Orisha is a character I'd love to revisit.
DeleteIt was a great issue, Dematteis.
ReplyDeleteExcept, now I want a mini series from before Kraven went nuts, just exploring him trying to be a good stepdad.
Maybe a sitcom? KRAVEN KNOWS BEST? Or maybe KRAVEN DOESN'T KNOW BEST would be more accurate!
DeleteI think something more in the Norman Lear family. Explore the nature of being a blended family, two exiled folks without a country to truly call home.
DeleteJack
"Kraven, you meathead!"
DeleteThat is ridiculous Dematteis.
DeleteIt would clearly be Kraven saying it to Chameleon.
Jack
Kraven keeps throwing him out and the Chameleon keeps showing up in different disguises. The new neighbor. A door to door salesman...
DeleteOf course his neighbors would have to be avowed socialists, who anger his czarist views.
DeleteJack
Socialist Grandpa played by Bernie Sanders, in his Emmy winning role.
DeleteSounds like a hit to me, but I am not sure how you cast someone for a comic book. Or how a comic book wins an Emmy.
DeleteStill, two neighbors! Socialist Jeffersons, AND a Lorenzos/Stivics hybrid that can change shape!
